Hallam Fire Brigade was created in July 2004 located at 12-14 Belgrave-Hallam Rd Hallam, but the Brigade was formerly known as the Doveton Fire Brigade and located at Doveton Avenue, Eumemmerring (a few kilometres from the current location).

The Hallam Brigade consists of Senior, Auxiliary and Junior members.

  • The Junior's are aged between 11-16 years, and meet every Tuesday night from 7pm to 8pm.
  • The Auxiliary meet the first Tuesday of every month from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

In order to perform our tasks, we train on a regular basis. Training varies from theory to practical and covers a full range of tasks, from the basics of 'bowling' a hose, MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident - car crashes) rescue and HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials - gas, chemicals, radiological etc) operations.
